80,000 Posts Recruitment in 17 Zones of Indian Railway

Good news, Railways will have 80 thousand recruitment’s. There will be open recruitment for more than 80 thousand posts in 17 Zonal Railways including North Western Railway (Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner Ajmer).

In the name of deduction of expenditure in the last three years, the block of recruitment in the closed railway will be open. Out of the millions of vacancies, there is hope for recruitment on just 80 posts. There will be open recruitment for more than 80 thousand posts in all Zonal Railways including North Western Railway (Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner Ajmer). In this regard, the Railway Board has issued the order. There are only 2.75 lakh vacant posts in the Railways. These are 1.75 lakh posts of Safety category alone. 4755 posts of Safety category will be recruited in Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner and Ajmer under North Western Railway.

Long Meeting on Issues of Vacancies

NWREUK Union Minister Mukesh Chaturvedi Zonal Vice-President Vineet Mann said that 17 zones of the Railways in the country have long been on the issue of lack of staff, Ashwini Lohani, Chairman, JCM Secretary (Staff Side), General Secretary of AIRF, SG Mishra The meeting took place.

1. Civil Engineering: 2931 Posts
2. Traffic (C and O): 669 Posts
3. Electrical : 573 Posts
4. Mechanical : 459 Posts
5. Signal and Telecom (S & T) : 123 Posts

Consent to Fill 50% of Safety Posts

AGS Mukesh Mathur of AIRF informed that in the session of AIRF, detailed discussion was done to fill vacant posts of Safety category. It has agreed to fill 50% of the Safety posts.

Increased Number of candidates, Educational Qualification Matriculation

The Railway Board has given great relief to the unemployed youth. UPRMS’s Chief Minister Vinod Mehta said that for the year 2017-18, the Railway Board has increased the number of candidates for the post of handicap training to 1273.
