I recently added a new owner to my existing property in Google Search Console (Google Webmaster Tool). When he logged in his account he was unable to see any verified property or the property for which I delegated him as an owner. So, I researched a lot and found the below two solutions:
Suppose you have a property Example.com owned by OwnerOne and OwnerOne delegates ownership or add a delegate owner to OwnerTwo.
First Solution (Standard):
- OwnerTwo Go to Google Search Console (Webmaster Tool).
- Click on “Add a Property”
- Type in domain https://www.example.com/
It will show up the property as verified and there is no need to verify again.
This solution works only when delegate owner knows your domains actual URL.
If the delegate owner doesn’t know actual URL of your domain, means URL with HTTP or HTTPS, with www or without www then you can follow below solution.
Second Solution:
- First Remove OwnerTwo from owner list.
- Add OwnerTwo as a Full access User
- Then again Add OwnerTwo as Delegate Owner
This time when delegate owner login in his Google Search Console he will be able to see all the already verified properties.
